In the run-up to the festival, Juan Carmona visited the fourth-grade students at Jean Mermoz Elementary School on June 2. The goal was to introduce the children to flamenco as part of the Arts and Culture Education (ACE) program offered by the City of Aubagne to all schoolchildren.
